Tracy Benn-Roberts, an Attorney-at-Law with 20 years of experience, is currently the General Counsel/Corporate Secretary at the Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank Limited; a position she has held since 2013. Prior to this occupation, she was an Associate Attorney-at-Law (Roberts & Co., Attorneys-at-Law); Temporary Magistrate (Antigua and Barbuda) and Lecturer in Law (Antigua State College).
Mrs. Benn-Roberts is a graduate of the Ottos Comprehensive School, Antigua State College, University of Guyana, Norman Manley Law School and University of Dundee (UK).
Mrs. Benn-Roberts has attended numerous continued professional development seminars and completed various certificate programmes to include Risk Committee Certification (Caribbean Governance Training Institute); Financial Literacy Certification Programme (F.Lit.C) (GTI Caribbean Governance Training Institute; Board Dynamics: A Key to Effective Oversight (Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange Governance); AML/CFT Training for Board of Directors and Senior Management (Peter Nicholls & Associates Ltd.); Directors Education and Accreditation Programme (Acc. Dir)(ICSA Chartered Secretaries Canada); Advanced Certificate in International Arbitration (Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK); and various other certificate programmes with STEP and UNITAR.
Areas of involvement consist of membership with the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association and the Disciplinary Committee constituted under the Legal Profession Act 2008 – Antigua and Barbuda. She is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sunnyside Tutorial School and functions as a Court Appointed Mediator, High Court of Justice, Antigua and Barbuda.
Regarding extra-curricular activities, Mrs. Benn-Roberts is the Co-Owner of Upstage Boutique, Founder of Pinked Enterprise Inc (a non-profit organization for breast cancer awareness and fundraising activities) and a Congregational Steward in the Methodist Church she attends.
